I recognized one QB in the XFL, Taylor Heinecke.

And that is only because he was a 3rd string/ Practice Squad QB for the Vikings for a few years. Great player during the pre-season, but we all know how little that means.

If the league has a downfall, it will be almost certainly because of poor quality at QB.

And it's ALL passing. I think there was only one team that actually ran the ball this past season, everyone else was airing it out (or trying to) 9 plays out of 10. No way they'll get NFL backups for the salary they're paying. And the NFL has all those other bennies that you'd never get in the XFL.

Rock-solid buy: Ex-WWE star, group to own XFL

A group including actor and former WWE star Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has agreed to purchase the XFL for approximately $15 million, according to a news release issued Monday morning.

The XFL declared Chapter 11 bankruptcy April 13 and has been seeking a buyer for the past three months, marketing itself as a made-for-TV product that could transition as early as 2021 to a bubble concept during the coronavirus pandemic. It is unclear when Johnson and his investors -- who include his business partner and ex-wife, Dany Garcia, along with RedBird Capital Partners -- plan to revive the league.

Smart move IMO. With his connections to Hollywood could be Ballers crossover, hard knocks type stuff and reality type stuff to supplement the low wages for the players.

I only recognized BJ Daniels because of playing at USF for what feels like forever ago and him randomly having a Super Bowl ring. Though good for PJ Walker during the XFL into getting drafted.
