I think the TyMo experiment is over. They may run a committee with Williams (whichever one they have) and Aaron Jones. TyMo will probably go back to WR or maybe play the 3rd down role. I have no evidence to support this, so take it fwiw.

I agree on TyMo too.
Been doing some research on Philbin for an article.
I found it interesting the last time he was the OC for the Packers he used both Ryan Grant and James Starks pretty evenly.
Which may not be good news for fantasy owners hoping that either Williams or Jones gets a larger share over the other.

either Jordy or Cobb is out, or both, TyMo moves back outside, and the "hot hand" approach is employed with Jones and Williams. Maybe eventually one outshines the other, with an outside shot at TyMo having a hybrid 3rd down type of gimmick

so one way or another all three appear to have limited floors and ceilings

They employ the Belichick philosophy and get another two or three guy to rotate without out warning. ...

What do I make of it?

Barring injuries it'll be a backfield that I avoid drafting in all my leagues. That's what. FWIW, I like Williams better.

I think Jones is the better homerun RB. Williams is the better option to pound away on defenses, not that he cant bust one. I honestly dont know what to make of Monty. He just cant stay healthy but he can produce.

IMO, neither are overly talented... so I wouldn't be surprised if they draft a new RB... But the good thing is that as long as Rodgers is playing QB they don't need a great talent to get those stud numbers... and a Rodgers lead offense will never be a run first offense... so I think they will go in with this duo, and they will be splitting... With Williams as the lead back since he is more of a ground and pounder...

Williams when they're winning/short yardage, Jones when Rodgers is slinging it around.
I also think they move on from the TyMo experiment.

I'll go against the grain and say TyMo sticks around at RB and enters camp as the starter. I don't view what transpired this year as TyMo lost the job. I think it's a three headed split for 2018, with TyMo getting the 'start'.

I never got the feel that ARod was comfortable with Williams. Rodgers does not do ground and pound. He'd rather throw a 4 yard route than handoff for 3 yards. Jones and TyMo have the game that mesh well with ARod. I think TyMo wins that battle in camp. But all 3 play, as GB needs to limit the pounding TyMo takes.

Pretty sure one of Cobb/Nelson will be gone, but I see them testing Geronimo or Clark rather than flipping TyMo back to WR. They will also probably draft another WR to keep the cupboard stocked.

tymo may be the value pick in drafts as round 15-16 as nothing is set in stone
