BERKELEY – Cal head coach Sonny Dykes has named senior Davis Webb the Golden Bears' starting quarterback on Thursday. The graduate transfer joined Cal in May when he enrolled in the school's public health master's program and is eligible to play for the Bears in 2016 after graduating from Texas Tech in May. He played in 23 games with 14 starts over his three campaigns at Texas Tech and threw for career totals of 5,557 yards and 46 touchdowns.

Webb begins the 2016 season on watch lists for the Maxwell Award honoring the nation's top player and the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award recognizing the top quarterback.

Absolutely, if you think them Beavers will get three wins and a tie then your prediction would be 'Even', if you think it's three wins or less or exactly two wins and a tie, then your prediction would be 'Under', and if you think they get four wins or more or four wins and a tie, then your prediction would be 'Over'.

The Amway Coaches Poll is conducted weekly throughout the regular season using a panel of head coaches at FBS schools. The panel is chosen by random draw, conference by conference plus independents, from a pool of coaches who have indicated to the American Football Coaches Association their willingness to participate. Each coach submits a Top 25 with a first-place vote worth 25 points, second place 24, and so on down to one point for 25th.
