Owners most likely won't stand for it either without proof or charges, it hurts their bottom line as well.

The league has no choice but to be very tough on DV.

They may change the punishments a little but don't expect a major change.

The "cop" on this case was some lady who had been hired to steer any NFL domestic violence inquiry. Can't recall her name, but she was driving the process.

Last time I got a speeding ticket from a lady cop she didn't charge me the minimum of $135. She hit me for $239. First time I'd ever been hit for more than the minimum. The only time I've been pulled over by a lady cop.
