Arizona is using a golf cart to speed up the pace of play.
I've seen reliever run in from the bullpen as fast as this thing will go.
Does anybody at HQ have any data on how many hours per year this thing will cut from the times of games?

I saw the replay of the cart and agree with you, John. I have seen pitchers get to the mound faster than that cart got the pitcher there. Now if they had s a flux capacitor installed, the pitcher would already be on the mound.

I can see the headlines now, "RP badly injured while being driven out of the mound due to the golf cart flipping over at a high rate of speed"

Astros reliever Collin Mchugh became the first pitcher to use the golf cart this season. Not sure why Arizona hasn’t used it yet but the road team did today.

They would always drive it down when there was a pitching change, but of course there wouldn't be a pitcher riding in it. It become more of an advertisement for OnTrac, their logo is on the helmet part of the cart.
