Their next 4 are huge - Leicester away, Hull home, Liverpool away, Arsenal home. If they come out of that unscathed they shouldn't have trouble locking up the title.

A big January signing would help though - James Rodriguez scored two and looked great for Real today vs Sevilla.

I wonder if this is too late for the guy. Turns 24 next month. Will never understand why Liverpool bought him to never give him a chance - was great on loan at Bordeaux and for Portugal when they finished 2nd at the Euro U-21's.

Hope he can get back on track because with all the talent Portugal's produced as of late central defenders is a gap and Pepe-Fonte are getting up there in age.

Speaking of Fonte, he officially handed in a transfer request this morning.

Liverpool is apparently the likely destination, although I could see City swooping in on that one since Fonte is Champions League-eligible.

Sorry Dash.

Oh well, it's just part of the normal order of business as far as Southampton is concerned. I wouldn't be surprised if Van Dijk is the next to find greener pastures.

Morgan Schneiderlin moving to Everton and re-uniting with Koeman.

Everton is also after Kostas Manolas, which would be a great signing for them and would make the two Milan teams pretty happy as Manolas-Rudiger has probably been the best CB partnership in Italy this year.

Torino's president claiming Arsenal made a 65 million euro bid for Andrea Belotti. Arsenal denying.

I could see Arsenal shopping for a striker but I could never see Wenger paying more than 30 million for one since it's still 2003 in North London. Methinks Torino is spreading rumours to up the bid from China.

A lot of talk that Rakitic will be sold to City.

City need a midfielder but if Pep was brought in to win the Champions League I'm not sure why blowing a buttload of money on a Cup-tied player would be the best allocation of financial resources.

Would also be funny when Iniesta and Sergi inevitably get hurt in a month and Barca are forced to use academy players as fill-ins rather than a world-class midfielder.

So Uefa gets 32 teams, Conmebol gets 8, Concacaf gets 3, Africa gets 6, Asia gets 4, Ocenia gets 1, that add up to 54. Looks like we need to expand to a 64 team field.

How about a couple of play-in games as well, esls, just so Canada can get a sniff?

logically, there would be fewer qualifying games in each confederation now meaning FIFA is cannibalizing the money from the confederations

/but larger payola available for vote rigging though :thumb:
