Just read the preseason preview for BSU in the Statesman. Good Lord I can't wait. If Southwick has taken his game to the next level like many think, this could be a tough team. On offense need two linemen to step in from backup roles and step up. WR and TE should be very solid and have 6+ yds per run RB with some depth behind him returning.

Defense staying healthy and living within the team rules is the challenge. Remember BSU actually suspends players that act up.

I agree sir!! Southwick looked great against a Washington defense that was tough against good Pac-12 opponents, so he definitely made progress late in the year. Our receivers are very good, I also think Ajayi will break out this year, he'll be better than Harper last year.

I agree with that, we didn't have too much trouble with it last year and the defense was incredible, but in 2011 we had issues with injuries in the secondary that became our downfall against TCU, and this offseason we've lost some great defensive linemen because they got in trouble.

Chang was the 2nd best QB on his team his soph and junior seasons. This last year he was QB, the better back up those years already graduated. Jason Weilden actually led UH to a comeback win vs. Bama when Chang was on pace to throw about a million picks that game.

They talk about human highlight films. He was the human INT machine.

My mom is from Hawaii and I lived there and walked to Aloha stadium to nearly every game in 2002 10-4 and second place in the WAC that season. They are my second favorite team despite going down the crapper after Jones left.

I will be surprised if they win more than 3.

Well written. The loss of returning player production in particular really hurts. No conference lost more from 2019. It’s not even close.
