What I found interesting is that most of the Ole Miss fans I spoke to this morning in Oxford just seemed to take it for granted they would lose to Bama, but they all bought into the idea of competing, as apparently did their team.

If there's one thing a team that lost it's second game loves, it's absolute chaos.

I was really impressed with Ole Miss today. I thought they lost the game when Bama recovered the fumble and scored right before the end of the half. Hugh Freese is an underrated coach. His boys came out ready to play in the second half.

Mississippi State's game was impressive. Game wasn't nearly as close as the final score. But I still think their secondary is questionable. Had A&M receivers not worn frictionless gloves, the game would have been a shootout.

They competed and then some. Bo Wallace earned a lot of respect today. Really, Ole Miss was a couple of dropped passed and dropped interceptions away from winning big.
