still lol that a movie based philosophically on 6th-9th grade literature surveys confused multiple people.

they are part of a computer program

the "people" they morph into are part of the same computer program

neo and his peeps are not a part of that program
I'm pretty sure everyone plugged in could be morphed by an agent. That's Morphius said when they were walking together and first encountered the woman in the red dress.

and in the very type of scene you reference, the movie indicates that 'they' need time if not direct aid (cypher betrayal) to detect the foreign presence.

Yup... So that answers the OPS question.

I love the Matrix trilogy. And I don't give a fuck what you guys think. One thing has confused me though.

Since you need someone on the ship to plug you in when enter the Matrix, how in the hell did Cypher do it with no help at all?

Jada Pinkett Smith Lost 'Matrix' Lead Because She 'Didn't Click' With Keanu Reeves

Jada Pinkett Smith says she lost the female lead in The Matrixbecause she had zero chemistry with star Keanu Reeves. On SiriusXM's The Howard Stern Show this morning, the actress talked about auditioning for the role of Trinity in the 1999 sci-fi blockbuster, which won four Oscars and made nearly $500 million worldwide. Though she wanted the part badly, Smith knew she’d lost it as soon as she screen-tested with Reeves.

“Keanu and I didn’t, uh, really click… We just didn’t have any chemistry, he and I,” Smith told Stern.

The role of Trinity went to Carrie-Anne Moss. However, Smith’s audition so impressed the Wachowski siblings (who wrote and directed The Matrix) that they created a new character for her: the rebel pilot Niobe, who appeared in the sequels The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions. In retrospect, Smith believes that Moss was the right choice for the lead.

Jada Pinkett-Smith = poor man's Halle Berry (with regards to looks, not acting)

She played one hell of a role as Niomi. At the time I thought she was hot as hell....not so much in the face, but that athletic body she was sporting at the time was smokin'.

After reloaded and revolutions, I didn't care for other movies she's done.

She's a nut.

Keanu actually seems like a good guy, and I feel sorry for him...His then wife, delivered a stiil-born child that they had no indication of going into delivery, and then that same wife, died tragically in a car accident, not long after.

I get annoyed when I see the "Sad Keanu" memes.

IMHO, "Burnt Fish Larry" (Laurence Fishburn) was the keystone to the Matrix's success - a career crest performance in 1999. He had more than half of the best lines and critical scenes in the film. Put anyone else in the role of Morpheus, and the film makes money but doesn't hit the same mark.

Those two together would of had 0 chemistry so I agree. The cast in the 1st movie ended up working perfectly together.

Moss and Reaves made for a nice looking couple and their romance flowed well in the movies. Perfection considering how easily it could of been blocked by the effects and action. It brought a human aspect to the concept of the Matrix. That love could exist in digital.
