Also, there is a ton of rumors going on that the Rams are very interested in WR, T. Higgins from the Bengals who is not doing so well in Cincinnati because they don't want to pay his big contract salary numbers. If a trade does indeed happen after the draft or even before, it may alter what we do with WRs in the draft. So, things may change because of that activity going on in the background.

They would need to restructure at least Stafford and probably Kupp to fit Higgins' $21.8M franchise tag for 2024.

Yep, Shopson. That very option is being discussed as part of the deal. All this talk is also taking into account of the rumored proposed trade-up deal with the Titans that would land the Rams in Selection Number 7 so that the Rams can select Odunze. The Rams would get Number 7 of the First Round this year, while the Titans would get 19, 52, the Compensatory pick in Round Three, and next year's Fourth Round Pick according to a lot of podcasts and several writer pundits.

It would be surprising to me if the Titans did that, as they really need a LT in this draft. Their OL was weak already, then they dumped last year's LT.

That's a lot of draft capital this year for the Rams, not sure I like the idea.

i don't like the idea of dumping more money into Tee higgins. WE don't need another fucking WR.. CUPP, PUKA, Robinson, little turd who needs to be shown the door still and Ben S. Find a bruiser back in the later rounds and go DE/DT or Edge with the 1st pick. We are in no position to win shootouts with no pass rush.

I am pretty sure all that talk about a trade-up with the Titans ain't going to happen because the Titans' GM came out today and emphatically stated they ain't trading down. If McShitFerBrains has another stiffy for a WR, stay at 19 or trade down with the Bills and take Brian Thomas who might just be as good as Odunze.

Only Puka and Kupp are the only WRs under contract for 2025.

Kupp's dead cap number goes from 52 million in 24 to 22 million in 25 and 7 million in 26.

This is a pretty good list of RBs the Rams have available to them in each round but the article doesn't even mention Allen from Wisconsin who is a big back that we really need.

Knowing how Snead works drafts, I am quite certain he will get the Rams set-up to get a Fourth rounder which we still don't have. So, if the Rams trade down and still draft Thomas, Robinson, Murphy, Newton or one of the many OTs, I suspect a Fourth Rounder will be included in the package.

This would be a stupid trade in light of all our needs. And there are better fit QBs to take in the draft than this one. WE would be giving-up way too much for a QB.

Yeah, I don't see it (and I like Daniels). They're in a great spot at 19 to let talent fall to them, whether it be OT, Edge, DT, CB or even WR. If they take a QB, I would assume it would be Penix or Nix falling into the 2nd, but I don't see them falling THAT far to 52. Rattler could be an option in the 3rd (or a later flier with likely backup upside).

There is always Rattler and that kid from Kentucky we have already discussed.

Yeah, Leary's time with former Rams OC Liam Coen could make him a quick learner in McVay's system. I'm not sure he has a lot of upside and is a bit on the smaller side (6'1, 215). His best year was in 2021 under Coen (who went to the Rams in 2022 but returned to Kentucky in 2023, now in Tampa).

Well like so many other pre-draft rumors, the Rams appear to fielding trade scenarios to move up in Round 1 to take Joe Alt. This would be one of the best moves the Rams could do and their O-line would be set for the next ten years at Tackle especially if Joe Alt is the target. Any other player would be mistake as this trade is probably going to involve two number ones which will be next years'. I hope they pull this off without overpaying!!

In the mean time, here is a list of good LBs that can improve our lot. The list includes Rounds 2 through 7. I like a number of these choices. Wilson and Wallace are preety good backers and I also like the kid from Penn State. All three are an improvement over Reeder and Rozeboom. We shall see how things play out.
