The Lack of Discipline on this Team Is an Embarrrassment

This is on Pete. Period. He would rather be 'one of the boys' than hold the players and coaches accountable. When this team does win, they do not win because of him, they win in spite of him.

I agree. Winning can cover up a bunch of this stuff, but it's really come to a head the last couple years with the results not quite being on par with previous seasons. But this team has always lacked discipline even when the team was going to super bowls. Last year how many blow ups were there on the sidelines? There was the issue with Tate and Wilson going back a few years. I like that Pete lets guys be themselves, but it should only go to a point. When it affects the team's play on the field it's gone too far, but there doesn't appear to be any kind of repercussions for players when it does. Pete brought Seattle a super bowl and I will always be grateful for that. But there are culture issues with this team in the locker room and nothing ever seems to change.

Agreed. I'll take a team that wins without discipline over a highly disciplined 6-10 team every time.

Why does Bennett always seem to be in the middle of this stuff and he's the Seahawk's nominee for the Walter Payton award? How come Russell Wilson never gets nominated for this award? Wilson is the biggest boy scout in the entire NFL and this is the one award that seems like a gimme for him but yet he never gets the nomination. Weird.

There is no leadership on this team all the major faces on defense have no respect for each other. When they get scored on and go get shelled (which happens to every great defense) they start fighting each other on the sideline. When they lose a game either close or by a bad margin they start fighting the other team. It was great when everyone had a chip on their shoulder wanting to prove the world they can play but once we won the superbowl and people starting getting paid the amount of childish behavior that came out is ridiculous mostly pointing to the defense.
