Me.

I think this is the 2 best pitching staffs, but overall I think I have the better offense.

Top 3 of both rotations are awesome, I think UK has a better back end of the rotation, but stoke has the best bullpen in this as well.

I dont agree with moving votto too the bench against lefties, but I get it.

Overall this is an awesome matchup, I think stokes bp is the difference

I hemmed and hawed, but Sosa was .296/.392/.558/.950 career vs. LHP, while Votto was .299/.405/.506/.911 and Sosa just gets better and better as you take into account prime and peak while Votto really does (probably because he's still in his prime). Overall, Sosa was better vs. LHP, and there really wasn't any reason to not go with it with the sheer amount of talent on the team - might as well maximize it.

I had dosa with a 38 something obp against lefties. 20 points of obp probably does not override the extra power Sosa brings

baseball-reference has Sosa's OBP against LHP as .389, but in my equation I didn't account for SH or SF so mine was .392. I went my way since SH and SF weren't tracked for everyone and I was trying to make it consistent for everyone. But, yeah the difference in OBP was just not enough to not go with the added pop - as Sosa's 14.9 AB/HR is significantly better than Votto's 22.4.

I think there are only slight advantages in both lineups and rotations. Both rotations are sick. Went back and forth but I went with Stoke bc of his BP. He has the best BP in this draft.

You play where you play - plenty of Red Sox with inflated numbers as well..... ;)

It's was more of a bonus than deflated balls.

I'll leave it at that.

It wasn't a comment on steroids or any other Boston related scandal....

I have looked at this for like an hour. I have to lean UK

Games like this are why I don't like drafting Super Teams...
