And, once again, Kapler gets lazy and just puts Pederson in left field. I would really love to know why he feels that is a better defensive configuration than what he used last night.

Tyro did not miss that one.

Spyder looks sharp through 3.

going to go out to dinner now. The outcome of the game doesn't really matter but I'd like to come back and see some good ABs and strong pitching from Webb.

Nice to see Webb get some run support for a change. It's Colorado of course but still

Wow, could we really get two wins in a row? I know its only the 6th inning but winning 8-0 looks pretty good.

I guess even with this lineup provided by FZ, I am reminded of the old saying even a blind squirrel will find a nut (eventually).

P.S. "this lineup" as observed in the last month or so.

Ramos with a locker in the clubhouse. All we need is for DeJong to get DFA'd and Fitz brought up and I'm relatively happy.
Sept. 9: OF Austin Slater day to day with dizziness; 2B Thairo Estrada returns to lineup
Slater and Estrada were slated to bat first and second in Friday night's series opener against the Rockies, but they were scratched with dizziness and conjunctivitis, respectively. Estrada returned to the lineup on Saturday, but manager Gabe Kapler said Slater was still being evaluated after continuing to experience some "off-balance moments," which could stem from an inner ear issue.
The Giants brought Heliot Ramos to Oracle Park in a taxi-squad capacity, but they did not announce any roster moves prior to Saturday's game.

Also, there is this:

Luciano ‘could be an option’

Shortstop Marco Luciano, out since Aug. 8 with a hamstring injury, has returned to game action and “could be an option” for the Giants down the stretch, Kapler said.

Luciano, the Giants’ top hitting prospect, played a five innings in an instructional league game this week and was scheduled to play seven innings Friday.

Shortstop has been the Giants’ weakest position in relation to the rest of the league this season, and Luciano was thought to be an option to provide a late-season boost in the same fashion Harrison, their top pitching prospect, has for the rotation. His first stint in the big leagues, however, didn’t last long — only four games — and he played only six games at Triple-A Sacramento before getting hurt.

I wonder what Tito would think of Webby.
How many wins does he have in day games against the Dodgers? That is the only measure of success after all.

I do wonder where ol' Tito went after ESPN closes the boards. Did he find somewhere else to go or did he just hang up his hat? Perhaps he is posting elsewhere as Miss Understood.

As long as they have better endings to their careers than the 1.0s.
I'll take the careers first, worry about the end later :D

It's sort of expected most careers end like that...Crawford's is too...they usually don't go out strong like Pujols or Posey

Doesn't mean one can't hope for better. But yes, let's get the careers first.
