People that took a weak decade first is part of their strategy. I think next time we do Decades for any sport we need to clarify you can trade for other decades bc I didn't know.

It really sucks but when Tlance said he was against it, I looked at OP... It did say 2 per decade so I was going to say we should stick with the 2 per... So, if anyone wants to trade their 70 pick for Bob McAdoo let me know...

Well I was told by a certain person not to be named lets call this person Commish that Yes decades could be traded. For the past 2hrs I have been redoing my list because now I could take other players who were erased because already took 2 of 80's. Luckily I saw these posts that decades are not on the trading block or I would have been pissed later on.

In all fairness it doesn't say we can't take a player already taken. So I could also have Michael Jordan on my team if I had the decade.

Well Actually...

It does say that you have to take two players from each decade. It doesn't say you have to end up with two from each. So while you may not be able to trade decades, you can probably trade players. It would have to come with those NBA Draft type "we'll take x if you give us y" type deals.

Not suggesting anybody is trying to pull something. I know that is not the case.

Still, by reading the rules, this draft is much different from any that I have done with you guys. The 24 minute rule and the specific mention of drafting 2 per decade do make a big difference, IMO.

Not trying to be a butch about this, but when I saw the first trade go up, my thought was okay, what players are you guys talking about. Never even occurred that you could trade a decade.

By the way, in the salary cap drafts, the rules clearly stated whether or not you could trade cap space. I think that would have been necessary here too.

I thought Nos had a list but I guess his list is done for nowa
