Yup. Granted the injuries have been bad. Matter of fact - beyond bad. But bad fundamentals only add to the frustration. Wash has to be pulling those last three hairs out.

as much as I like Lewis, this is stupid to get upset over. Rasmus was just trying to beat the shift. And with the way opposing batters have been hitting Lewis this year, he should be thankful he only laid down a bunt.

Unless, of course, Colby Lewis is upset Rasmus bunted because he's on Lewis's fantasy team...

Colby Rasmus is a dickhead but he did nothing wrong here at all. Since when does the batter ask the pitcher for permission to bunt in that situation? Fuck him.

Lewis needs to shut the fuck up and play baseball. It was a 2-0 game in the fifth inning and they basically were giving Rasmus a free base. Why shouldn't he take it?

Bottom line. And when they do, the pitcher can STFU or be prepared for the batter paying him a visit on the mound. I'm no Colby Rasmus fan but I'd have been in favor of him steppin' out to the bump to settle shit in this case.

Like Doug Glanville said "this is a reflection on the Rangers entire season."
