Watching the game Saturday night, I am sure I was impressed as anyone. The offense was on... WVU could do little to slow it down. The defense played a poor game, but make no mistake Baylor played its offense at an elite level.
Watching its attack, it kind of hit me. Maybe what I was watching was the vision Bill Stewart had for his offense. Continue with the zone read, but add vertical. At least that is what I remember him saying.
Baylor ran the zone read as well as WVU under Rich... or Oregon today.
Their vertical component was impressive too. The WR's were fast... and they had great hands.
