It’s Raining Falafel
Tonight the Blue Jackets will find out if they can trade their first pick for someone good like Jack Eichel or a useless scrub like Marner.
Honestly, with 4 solid D prospects, as long as we don't drop we should be fine.Blue Jackets could use a lottery win here with the Seth Jones news.
Here’s to hoping you’re Nostradddamus with this prediction.Odds and my prediction on who wins is in bold and who gets screwed of is italics (sorry @forty_three).
For some reason I think a west coast team will win the lottery because Bettman is noticing they are ALL in the draft lottery, and he needs one of those markets to be successful.
1. Buffalo Sabres, 16.6 percent
2. Anaheim Ducks, 12.1 percent
3. Seattle Kraken, 10.3 percent
4. New Jersey Devils, 10.3 percent
5. Columbus Blue Jackets, 8.5 percent
6. Detroit Red Wings, 7.6 percent
7. San Jose Sharks, 6.7 percent
8. Los Angeles Kings, 5.8 percent
9. Vancouver Canucks, 5.4 percent
10. Ottawa Senators, 4.5 percent
11. Arizona Coyotes, 3.1 percent
12. Chicago Blackhawks, 2.7 percent
13. Calgary Flames, 2.2 percent
14. Philadelphia Flyers, 1.8 percent
15. Dallas Stars, 1.4 percent
16. New York Rangers, 1.0 percent
As I'm sure most everyone knows, if the Coyotes were to win the lottery, we would have a re-draw as those cheaters are not eligible to win.
yeah, my "give-a-shit" level is pretty low for this draft. It would be classic Senators luck to get buggered in every draft lottery and then win this one, where there is no clear cut #1, franchise level player.
if we don't draft the best D man available I'll lose ityeah, my "give-a-shit" level is pretty low for this draft.
LOL... if I was any good at predicting, I would have won the lottery by now. Here’s to hoping you’re Nostradddamus with this prediction.

this being said. if we made a package that included our 1st overall for a young Dman that can play today for a strapped team I Would be all in. and I dont believe that is Jones
I saw someone suggest schmidt, rathbone and the first for jones ... no thanks lol

nope.... I would stick with those guys over Jones for depth alone. I think Rathbone is worth keeping to see if he can become a bonefide dman. I liked alot of what I saw in the short time he was here. I also think Schmidt deserves one more season in a normal environment to see how he plays.
