Only benefit of Ham's coaching style for FSU is all of the guys who played last year now have experience with Bacon and Issac gone. 5 guys hit double figures including 7'4" Christ Koumadje who also had 5 blocks. It'll be interesting how this team can compete in conference play. They can shoot the piss out of the ball but do they have a guy that can take over like Bacon did last year?

ACC has gotten off to a rocky start so far this season with losses to Navy, Montana, Georgia Southern(though I think they're a top 100 team), Liberty, and now St. Louis.

The brand of Saint Louis basketball probably doesn't fit in with these other schools, but as of right now, the data says that this year's team does.

I thought St. Louis was a year away. They may be better than I thought, but I still think a team like Va. Tech should have won. But maybe St. Louis will be a top 3 A-10 team, so it won't look bad come March.

And I'd agree in regards to Ga. Southern.

Doral Moore put up 14/9 on Liberty and 17/17 on Drake. This isn't even about trying to replace John Collins anymore. Is more about the guards playing selfish and shitty basketball, while Manning just watches it take place. Also, Moore has to be a one man army on the glass. Its completely ridiculous. Defense still blows, but now its starting to blow against sub-100 teams. Where it normally just blows against Top 100-125 opponents.

Manning looked like a competent coach last year. I'm a Wake fan, so I've seen some bizarre shit, but the start of this basketball season has to be most the most bizarre sports thing I have ever seen.
