Jordan had Pippen, Horace, & a bunch of role players during the first 3-peat. And Grant barely put up better numbers than Triston Thompson during the regular season while on that run.

The second run was basically the same except you swap out Horace for Rodman.

The thing that separated those teams, was their defined roles & the defense they played one-on-one & as a team. That is where the team around Jordan was much better than this Cavs team.

it was 23 minutes (by my count). Everytime they took him off the court Cleveland looked lost, too bad they didn't let him rest another 7 minutes so the numbers could mean something...

Or you know, run a consistent offense with or with out him on the court. It's no surprise a team will be less efficient without the guy who dominates the ball 90% of the time for them, not on the floor.

But it's the guys around him who are at fault...
