Don't go there unlerss you want Dirt to go on a 3-page ecstatic tirade. He's practically shitting himself with glee over Cano's issues this year.

Sure, I wouldn't think you would find any contention on that point.

Regular season- LeBron had plenty of help... they turned into a top-2 team in the league over the 2nd half of the season. They were no 1-man show. They were a great team.

But he carried them - for the most part - throughout the playoffs. Especially the last 2.5 rounds.

Oh, but I am finding someone claiming the Cavs roster is one of the worst in NBA history.

The issue I have is that when push comes to shove, no matter who is on the floor with Lebron, the offense always turns into a spread-iso one-on-one. One of the worst offenses in the NBA is when they spread the floor & let Lebron "do his thing". It's simply TURRIBLE. That's why his teams tend to fail, regardless of the talent around him.

winners carry teams.

hes 2-4.

Actually, in the NBA Finals... very rarely does a player carry a team. There are very few championships teams - and no repeat champions - where the best player didn't have a tremendous supporting cast.

Golden State should cut Kelly Olynyk a playoff share.

we are looking at who actually played... not the guys sitting in suits on the sideline

How many minutes was Lebron off the floor for the entire series? Numbers mean squat with an infinitesimal sample set.

That's what happens when 3 starters are injured for the year - 2 in the playoffs.

That is not at all how this team played all season - or even in the early part of the playoffs. It was their best chance at putting off a fight against a great Warriors team... and it worked as well as any strategy could have, imo.

by definition, something becomes statistically valid at 30.

so if lebron missed 30 mins its considered statistically valid.

if you want to argue that (anyone i mean) feel free to google it. its a 6 sigma standard.

He was once criticized for being "too unselfish", so it's just not true what you're claiming

He did exactly what he needed to do this series to give his team any chance this series

If what you are saying had merit, the Cavs while Lebron got his rest minutes, would not have been out scored 46-8. They were simply because it was the least talented roster, minus one guy (Irving and love aside) that's ever been there

I wonder how Pippens Finals numbers would stack up against any of the other Cavs players on this roster?

Pippen
Rodman
Kukoc
Kerr
Paxson

Lebron would have killed a litter of kittens for one of them

I doubt very much he was off the floor that long. I am thinking less 20 minutes were spent on the bench in the series.

considering the vastly different eras, its hard to compare. lebron has far more freedom with the ball than players did in the 90's.

no blood, no foul...remember that?

Pippen
Rodman
Kukoc
Kerr
Paxson

Lebron would have killed a litter of kittens for one of them

rodman was a nice (great) rebounder and solid defender, no offense

kukoc was all offense and outside shooting, no defense

kerr was a 3 pt specialist, like jr smith

so was paxson

Hate to disagree with you Rocko, but do me a favor and look up the score of the Celtics - Cavs game on April 12 when Cleveland sat LBJ, Irving and Love. Now realize that the difference between the team that the Celtics beat and the Cavs team that took the Warriors to a game 6 is LeBron.

Nice deflection

The answer is "Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen pisses on the entire Cavs roster after the 2 injuries"

it was 23 minutes (by my count). Everytime they took him off the court Cleveland looked lost, too bad they didn't let him rest another 7 minutes so the numbers could mean something...
