After giving up around 30 runs in the last 11 innings to the Mariner's, there must have been some kind of breakdown somewhere. This weekend series has losing 2 of 3 or a sweep written all over it. Not surprised at all.

Maybe a 2.5 game lead tommorow afternoon. Angels starting to look more like the 2002 team now. With their starting pitching and Downs and Frieri who have yet to give up a run this season they are positioned to win a lot of games here on out.

At least Oswalt threw 2 scoreless innings tonight.

The Angels have done very, very little to win either of these first two games. One or two bloop hits, multiple errors by the Rangers, and too many men left in scoring position by the Rangers to count. Let's see if Cruz can buck that trend.

I don't see why you play Napoli at 1b just to get Torrealba into a game. I'd rather have Moreland at 1b than YT's sorry defense behind the plate. And then leaving him in when LAA goes to RHP.

Torrealba is crap. I'm sick of watching him stab at low pitches rather than moving his lazy ass to block them.

Umm, yeah. That was kind of my point. The Angels have done very little to win or earn the wins, meaning that the Rangers have done even less. The Angels aren't even playing well and yet the Rangers still aren't beating them. When an opposing team plays like crap and yet they still beat you, that's pretty much the definition of handing them wins on a silver platter (like many others on here have described).
