Texas ... a$m discusion

The only time I hear about a rematch of the Texas\a$m rivalry game is on these sports web sites. No one at any Texas Tailgate is sitting around talking about a$m. AND while there was some talk years ago ... lately none of my a$m friends are talking bringing back the game... It only seems important to people outside of these 2 schools...

OU is Texas rival and always has been. More gear is bought, drinks, and food are consumed on the Red River Shootout than any other game... Yes Texas or a$m will make fun of each other (we have been doing that for about 200 years ... you don't think either of us will stop). The schools are less than 90 miles apart --- so you cannot help but get news on each other's program, problems, and game play .... but I do not feel the intense hatred or rivalry is there any longer between the 2 schools ...

I don't disagree with your post but for me personally, I always loved the Texas vs. Texas A &M game. It was a must see game every year in my house.
