I like him to keep starting in the minors. Even with limited pitches in the bullpen, I still feel like he could get a little anxious, throw out of his form, and potentially injure himself. I like the idea of keeping him in his comfort zone for now.

Perhaps he'll get some spot starts before September if another pitcher gets a 15-day vacation.. .. and, I'm hoping that doesn't happen of course.

Given the surgery for Bundy, I really want the O's to be careful with Gausman. It's not like past years where we were desperate for someone.. anyone.. after the 2nd starter.

I don't mind seeing him in the BP. This gives him a chance to learn and not have to worry about "game prep". He can come in and just pitch, I think its a great way from him to earn confidence in his abilities in the Major League level.

It may hurt his endurance a little but I think for this season it is worth it.
