Hernia surgery ain't bad...at all.
It's the recovery that's hell!
Have to go to Utah instead ...Going to show off my Son to his 93 year granny for the first time .. At least I get to go to Idaho
That's just catty.
Purr baby purr.
Yeah, but which one?
Public announcement - All Meds should be taken with water lapping up beneath your hammock on the beach on some Caribbean island.
While chewing on gummy worms.
Would kill to see Atwater get in the Hall. He deserves it so much. That would be an incredible trip to Canton!
Yes - on Atwater - very deserving!
There are 6 Broncos still very much deserving .
I cant remember the other DB that was always coming up huge against the browns ... as the last one
Rod Smith will be tough IMO. He is 27th on the all time receptions list, but there are so many other WR's not in the Hall in front of him and over the years as he wait more WR's will pass him.
Bailey is a given. That one is a slam dunk.
Meck. Hmmmm. I don't know. I mean I was a young kid when he played and thought he was good, but not sure he is a hall of famer.
Gradishar never saw play but every oldie swears he belongs.
Smith42? Detron Smith? No way he deserved to be in the hall of fame. He was a 3rd round FB who was only a special teams player. I'd say Dennis Smith49 has a much better shot.
Atwater is boarderline... 95% of Bronco fans think he should be there. I'd like to see him there, but he wasn't a cover S and that hurts him.... But his hitting ability and ability to tackle is deserving. He made a huge impact on defense for us. I don't expect him to get in but would love to see him get in... But Brian Dawkins and Lynch probably get in at some point and they played similar styles.
He will never get in, but Simon Fletcher is the best NFL player to never play in a Pro Bowl.
The DB? Hmmm Louis Wright is that who you're thinking of?
You smart ass Dennis 49 ...
DC you have the best memory I have ever seen in my life ...lol Because I busted you on a name ...oooie
If only I could remember my math like I do sports.
I use to sit in study hall in high school and write all this stuff down instead of studying for my tests.
Sports stuff just sticks in my head, it probably consumes 85% of my brain power.
I use to have teachers in the middle of class quiz me on sports numbers, positions, players because all of my classmates would bring up my memory for sports. People hated going against me in current events when the topic was sports in ECON class.
I was pretty good at history and english (I proof read my stuff if I am not typing on sportshoopla) but Math was another story.
I don't know, sports stuff just stuck into my head at a young age because I was so interested in even the smallest details that go along with it. Jersey numbers, stats, unknown players, plays, whatever.
I knew you meant Dennis, just had to razz ya.
But it was funny because another Smith, Detron did wear #42 for us.
My memory is really good even as a youth. When visiting childhood friends Ill remember stuff that they can't remember a detail about. There are things my friends have forgotten that stick in my brain like it was yesterday... I can't believe some of the stuff they've forgotten. I'm blessed with a great memory.
As the Church Lady used to say: "Isn't that special?"
Louis Wright Is the winner DC
Talk about firing my ass up !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now I am so ready for the season win or lose !
I'll never forget going to the John Elway induction and Meck was there. The guy signed autographs for 2-3 hours walking into the ceremony. Very classy.
Great video Crash.
Dennis Smith is one of the nicest players you could find. I hear Atwater is too but never had any interaction with him. My vibe is that Meck is a great guy too.
Jeremiah Castille is a pastor now... His two sons played at Alabama. One of which I did some draft stuff with (Simeon) he played for the Bengals and Chargers for a short time... Great group of guys during that area...
Seeing Ray Crockett in that highlight reminds me of how much I liked him on the Lions back then you didn't get to hear news as much as it is on the spot now, but I remember going to my great grandma's after school one day to see we had signed Crockett in the paper. Made my day! When we re-signed Braxton I felt like I got part of my heart back as a kid. When we traded Vance my heart was broken then we got him back and it was complete.
I remember when we signed Tim Brown to an offer sheet, Raiders matched so we ended up with Anthony Miller.
