I am going to go with a tight WVU win....I usualy don't pick us but I have a feeling we are going to break through soon and finish one of these games strong.

I will say WVU 27 TCU 24

Would like to see some of the players called out this week to come in with a chip on their shoulder and show they can lead this team.

I am at a total loss this year as to picking games. When I have thought we would play a competitive game WVU has been taken to the woodshed, when I thought WVU would take an ass beating, we have played tight or even won. I THINK this week should be a good game, athletically it is an even match, TCU has better coaching and is at home. I think WVU loses a close game due to being away, this team has done very poorly on the road. Maybe 28-24??????????

Got to agree with WVUDAD, I also think TCU having Pachall back is going to be a factor that is not in our favor. That being said, I'm hoping that this is the game we finally put everything together and play 4 good quarters.

He needs to do a little more than just be around to be a factor, even though we seem to have a knack for making QB's look great.... if he is as rusty as he looked against Texas he may help us.

As the WVU defense has lost its swagger and confidence, so have I. I expect WVU will make TCU look like an elite outfit for the first time in Big 12 play.

Not a good match-up for WVU as TCU is outstanding in getting to the QB.

Hopefully, WVU can get some TO's to have a chance.

I agree with yoru analysis, just have a feeling I guess. Hoping for a wake up game.

Still wondering if our special teams can every play a perfect game....out of the three I you would think this would be the easiest, but i cannot rememebr the last time they did it...maybe when RR was here, seems like we do something good on offense or defense and they next thing you know they let us down.

Hello all, been away from all the boards for some time now. Just couldn't find the time to do much on the forums. After the CBS board shut down I tried SCOUT for awhile but those old timers over there seem to be very protective of their posting hierarchy. They get pretty caustic with newcomers and differing ideas. It's really good to see a lot of the old names from the CBS days here with DC, bbwvfan, goldrusher and even DAD. Do Slaton, Lambert or the troll Banned Sleepy ever show up on here?
Anyway, to the point of the thread. I'll have to side with bb on this one. The Mountaineers do seem to make opposing QBs look like Heisman candidates this year. WVU owes Pachall and TCU a good drubbing after last year but I doubt that happens this Saturday.

SHOULD be a pretty good one. Patterson says the defense is starting over this week, not sure what he has up his sleeve but maybe he changes things up enough to lock down TCU's offense. Im thinkin upset.

I went to scout for a while was not very well received. Somebody reported me and I have been banned.

I posted in response to a player being charged with r*pe who should have just given deforrest a call if he needed some.

I really thought the team was on the verge of throwing in the towel for the season but they sure proved me wrong. This game was a tough gut check and they came through. Still some big games yet to play that can very easily get away but after today I have renewed confidence.

Good point! The 64 pt loss to Baylor was pretty impressive! And, yesterday's loss to KSU by 34… to a team most WVU fans considered an embarrassment because they lost their first game to a FCS squad was even more so…

HUH, you failed to mention the one point loss to Texas, or the 7 point loss to TT. IAST CAN beat us, and if your smart ass attitude is shared by our team, it may happen. They are a hungry conference team, if the WVU team overlooks them, they can get a loss.
