While losing Talib isn't the best of circumstances, I believe we have enough depth at the position to weather that storm, barring any additional injuries.

Although time will tell as to how this ultimately pans out. I haven't seen enough hard evidence yet to conclude he will definitely be suspended. We shall see what the investigation finds.

If that happens, just sue the league a la Brady, get the suspension held off pending the trial, then when Denver repeats as champs drop the case and serve the suspension at the beginning of next year.

Talib's value can't be good right now. Not because of his play on the field. I would keep him this year then probably part ways with him after this year. When we signed him we sorta figured he would be here 3 or 4 years, not the full amount of his contract.

Wouldn't surprise me if it was them. Broncos shot down the rumors pretty quick so hopefully no ill will between the two sides. And you are right just age and the way the Broncos structured the Contract it made sense that this was more of a 3-year deal than the full deal of the contract. Low signing bonus makes it where very little dead money if cut after this season.
