Somebody please explain to me how Oklahoma is still a tournament team and not on the bubble or even out all together?

Something about quads or something like that.

I don’t know it’s pretty stupid.

They do have good wins against Kansas, TCU (twice), Texas Tech, Wichita State, and USC

But that last big win was against Kansas in late January and they're 1-7 in their last 8. They also have losses to Texas and Iowa State in that span.

Fuck, man. Had we beaten KU and not lost to Illinois.....

The loss to Illinois hurt but definitely not nearly as bad as the loss the Kansas.

Normally that statement makes absolutely no sense, but in our case Kansas was the make or break game. Of course, nobody knew at that time that the Big 10 was going to be so shitty.

I think there needs to be an emphasis on which way teams are trending.

Oklahoma got a bunch of good wins early on and then hit a slump midway through January.

Why should anyone believe they’re just going to find their mojo suddenly come tournament time?

This is why I argue that the “overall resume” is really not a great way measuring a team at the end of the season.

Just like you wouldn’t hire an employee who was good at his or her job 10 years ago but got fired the past 2 jobs.

Watching these first two games in the B1G tournament and how bad they are makes me appreciate this season even more. Usually that is us playing in these games and I’m rooting for a bad team that’s painful to watch with zero chance of making the tourney.

I just hope we’ve turned a corner and this year isn’t an anomaly

I am 99% sure we’re in if we beat Michigan.

I’ve stopped paying attention to the experts and started listening to Rasmussen.....the actual chair of the committee. His tune is oh so different, and he’s the one calling the shots.
What if Iowa beats Michigan

I am going to say that our kids rested coming off of big win against Penn State or going to come in and slam the door early on Michigan kind of like what we did against Penn State.

I think we beat Michigan I really do

I just wanted to give a quick shoutout to myself before I forget.

At the start of the season I called that we would go undefeated at home in B1G play.

I am so smart.

I was curious about the early game attendance with these games in NYC. I suspect the crowd will be an all time low and the B1G will never go back there for the tourney. Needs to be in Midwest; Indy, Chicago, Minny or even DET/STL/KC would be fine. Please no more east coast venues.

It was a complete face plant move by the Big 10.

Nobody is paying attention to this tournament and the location suits Rutgers better than any team in the conference...

Nebraska could beat Michigan tomorrow and 99% of the CBB world won’t know.
