When I hear "Sun Bowl", it always reminds me of Nebraska/Oklahoma where Barry Switzer would say pre-game that "The Sooners were going to Miami to eat lobster while Nebraska would be going to El Paso to eat tacos."

He was right in 1980 where Oklahoma won the game (21-17). Nebraska won the Sun Bowl (31-17) over Mississippi St.
He was wrong in 1981 when Nebraska won the game (37-14). Oklahoma won the Sun Bowl (40-14) over Houston.
