A full grown longhorn steer just seems like a liability issue. My grandpa kept two that had the horns cut off. Both of them managed to squeeze through a zigzag pasture entrance that a grown man could barely navigate that had maybe a 2.5 foot opening. One that had kept horses and jersey cows in the pasture for years, and they did it without breaking a single board.

We had 3 side by sides, 2 4 wheelers and like 5 of us on horseback tracking them fuckers down. Luckily they went to the WMA instead of towards the highway. They were taken to the sale barn later that week.

They didnt even shave the bastards horns down. That could kill someone.
