cbc showed a good angle of it. i don't think the puck went out of play or hit a glove.

Just saw the CBC replay - That stanchion must have been made in St. Jerome, Quebec.

What a weird game. All the great stops Anderson made and somehow that one goes in.

The beauty of playoff hockey - two OT goals and you're down 3-0 instead of up potentially 2-1.

I was wondering if the Sens would have a bit of a letdown after making the playoffs. Don't know if they have, but at least the magic has expired a little. They seemed to get every break at just the right time on their playoff push, and it's not happening now....

For me Ottawa stood around way to much in this game when they should have been busting to get a 2-0 lead and a 3-0 lead to put the game away. They played way to lazy of a game with there season on the line, with allot of bad choices in play making also.

You can't sit on a 1-0 lead and expect to win with 20 minutes left. Sure some of the bad calls didn't help them any but they also didn't show much need to win the game as a team already down 2-0 needs. Montreal hasn't looked that great either in this game or in this series they can be beat. With a 3-0 lead now this series is over. But it really could have Ottawa up 3-0 also. 3 1 goal games could have gone either way really.

Ottawa had there chance to win this series. You can't say they didn't.

Bobby Ryan - $7.25 million a year, 0 playoff points, 5 points in his past 22 games, 3 goals since March 1, 7 years left on his contract.

Maybe Brian Burke was right?

Proving that any maroon can play with Getzlaf and Perry....
Ryan wanted to be the big guy on a team, show he could be a first line, main offensive threat player. He got that chance in Ottawa and they made the playoffs with him snoozing in the corner.

Of course it was intentional.

I don't know how many of you remember BJ McDonald, 46 with Gretzky, SFA without...

If I'm not mistaken, Glen Sather referred to him as a fire hydrant, as in "even a fire hydrant could score 50 goals with Wayne Gretzky"
