Am I the only one thinking the Sens take this one?

I hope you're right but I kinda feel like the Sens have been running on fumes for the last 5-6 games. Might have nothing left.

Except for Mark Stone; I'm pretty sure he runs on plutonium.

Carey Price carried a relatively weak Montreal team to the conference finals last year, and I can't come up with a reason that he can't at least steal them a round if he has to, so I'm calling MTL.

I do not really have a prediction or even a gut feeling about this series. With their lack of offense I can see the Habs losing to anyone. Plus they haven't really had a good last 6 weeks.

Who knows? Expert analysis huh?

The Sens may be drained after that stretch run. Not uncommon to see a team put together a run like that to get in only to get knocked out in the first round.

so the Sens do like Tbay and restrict ticket sales to those living predominantly in the Ottawa Hull region

end result ... secondary market for tickets is through the roof

scalpers rejoice!

As a die hard Bruin fan I would love to think the Sens would win this one but I do not. Habs are very good and not unlike the 2011 Bruins. They hurt you physically and are very fast. I would be shocked if the Habs do not move on.

I would agree.

Yet the 2 teams he has looked the most average against are Ottawa and TB.

So I think he has to raise his game for Mtl to win.

Quick thought: Therrien is probably roadkill if the Habs lose in the first round, right? That would probably be a nice silver lining for Habs fans.

It sounds like a possibility from some things I read. Even though I am not a huge fan of his and I would certainly not be upset I am not sure that's fair.
Also I have no faith any coach they would hire would be any better. They seem set on always having defense first and system coaches. Least that's what it seems to me.

If Therrien's a defence first coach, he's doing a terrible job of that. I think it'd be fair, though - the team's progression under his tenure has been almost entirely due to Price's emergence as the best goalie in the world. That lands on Bergevin too, of course, but Therrien's shelf life has historically been rather limited.

Maybe if they dropped that asinine "must speak French" rule?
