Happy with the defensive effort today. Putrid offense. Very poor decision making by the coaching staff. Terrible start to conference play. The boos from the crowd today were not only deserved, but earned.

Our offense is a joke and Petersen can take that MWC playbook and throw it into Lake Washington because that's not going to cut it in the PAC. That's a ticket to nowhere.

Especially considering how well the Huskies D had been playing... Huskies coaching staff lost this game for those kids... There are times to take chances and that sure and hell wasn't one of them.. PUNT THE #@$ing ball!!!! You don't give a team a short field like that in a close defensive game late... YOU just don't...

Absolutely right. The 4th and 1 from our 49 earlier was the wrong call as well. Stanford has maybe the best defense in the country. Our D is keeping us in the game. You play for the field position. You don't risk giving them a short field repeatedly considering how bad our offense was today.

1 play later and Furd was in FG range. He missed, we got lucky.


I know coach Petes a good coach, he will learn from this. Papers are going to call him out on it tomorrow, and all week...lol

Don't be so hard on the staff and the players. This is Chris Petersen's first year at the helm of a power 5 conference university. These aren't his players and it takes a while to get things running on all eight cylinders. You played the 16th rated Cardinal tough all 4 quarters. You've got 8 more conference games to go. It's not like you got blown out like A.S.U. did on Thursday night. I don't recall Petersen saying that the Huskies would be competing for a NC in his first year. Give him time to take the program to the next level

As disappointed as I was on the some of the calls I have to agree with you. It will take Petersen some time....

With that being said, the fake punt was a bad call and what the hell with not taking the ball at the 35 after the kick out of bounds? I couldn't believe that.
