Notre Dame are spending 400 million on a stadium expansion, it really isn't adding too many seats as a student center and academic buildings adjacent to the Stadium from the sounds.

I don't think they need more seats honestly. 81k seats with a comparatively small student section is plenty. It'd be nice if they installed real seats instead of the horrible bleachers.

It's expected to be able to seat 84K unless they change the style of seats in the stadium.
