TE Huermann is out

As long as the Spring ball injuries are not career ending they never really worry me, it just provides an opportunity for another dude to rise to the Standard and make a name for himself.

well, fuck. Ash broke his foot today. So, he's out for the rest of spring, and it aint even his head (had several concussions last year, knocked him out in game 3 for the year).


Thinking we're going to get Max Wittek, former USC highly recruited QB who is graduating this spring in three years. Has only used two years of eligibility, so will have two left wherever he goes. Really wanted him for depth, now really need him. Ash is supposed to be back for the fall. Swoopes is a sophomore, but zero experience and Jerrod Heard will be an incoming freshman. Was hoping we could redshirt Heard, but who knows.

Our freshman, 5 star QB, Deshaun Watson, broke his collar bone. He was suppose to battle Cole Stoudt for the starting spot.

I went :-( when I read the headline, but this won't really affect him in the fall. He will have surgery within a week and he will be back for the fall camp. It might actually be good for the Horns, by forcing the backups to get more attention. The NCAA approved a medical hardship for him so he now has 2 seasons of eligibility.
