Jason White is the only QB I know to be called for false start. It was at the goal line and he took off running into the butt of the center before he snapped.

But he put up impressive numbers. This is hard because it is a pure passer vs a dual threat.

Crazy thing is White started as a guy known mainly for his legs, tore both ACL’s , then developed into a pocket passer. Will never be known for his arm strength, but he had one hell of a deep ball.

This is difficult... on one hand we have a guy (White) that I don't really remember, but on the other hand we have a guy (Winston) that didn't play very tough competition the year he won the heisman.

I'll go with Winston, but I can be persuaded.

Jason White should have been in a wheel chair and still won the Heisman.

2 reconstructed knees.
It was amazing, what he did.

Well Winston should have been in jail... he stole pop from Burger King AND crab legs.

Mofucka... top that!

Right, THAT'S what should have put him in jail..

That accusation was investigated by four different parties, I believe. Including a supreme court justice in a private investigation. Every party unanimously said it was likely bull shit. It's incredibly difficult for a r*pe accusation not to make it to trial. As the statute only requires the testimony of the victim for the charges to go all the way to a jury verdict. If the charges did not stick, there was some incredible inconsistencies. So, yeah... the crab legs is probably all that should/could have landed him in jail at FSU.

But this thread isn't about that... so I digress and have no interest in debating it.

Jason White blew out his knee against Bama one year when up 24-3. We almost came back and won.

And it’s 2003, he won the Heisman
