I don't see why some of you take this so serious that you would not vote because of other people's ballots. It's just for fun and to create discussion. By all means call a stupid poll stupid, but keep voting. It's more fun when more people do it. Creates discussion and makes people justify what they do. It sure makes me look again when someone calls me out. I usually correct the stupid the next week...

Yep exactly. Abstaining from voting because some people put up idiotic polls is pointless. The fun part of this for me, anyways, is seeing how different people see different teams. It's also a good way to track the public perception of my own team from people in other parts of the country.

the worst ones haven't voted yet this year. Last year Bamabino's poll was so ridiculous that I checked to see what leaving it out would do. It only changed the rankings of two teams in the mid teens. We've never had anyone vote so horribly that it screws up the poll. I'm making my first vote this week and I hope we get more

Regardless, I don't start voting until after the first full week of PAC play.

You drinking the bamarade this season?

I'm drinking it by the gallon. Haven't seen a Bama offense roll up these kind of numbers since the Bear wishbone days of the 70's. Kiffin is maximizing talent and match-ups. He's getting 10-12 more plays a game than Saban's previous Bama teams. Time of possession is outstanding. 3rd down conversion is outstanding. The defense is 2-deep and Saban just unleashed Tony Brown at CB. No one(WV once) has been able to drive the length of the field on them and finish the drive with a TD.

I don't understand why people are ranking Stanford. They haven't done anything and they lost to USC and USC lost to BC. Just does not make since right now.
