You think $100 a month is static? that could be improved upon pretty easily, GITM has admitted as much. Sounds like he just has more important things to do now and can't give as much time here anymore.

You buy it.

LOL! Take a finance course before you go spouting that nonsense.

If you look at the graph Ghost posted, while SportsHoopla was using Google Ads, SH was netting around $400 a month in profit. A very basic valuation model is to use 4-5 times earnings before tax. SportsHoopla was sold for just over $16k, which is a quite good deal

My livery service nets about $60k a year before taxes. I have a solid client base. I'd gladly let you "steal" it from me for $200k. Interested?

I understand your point, but 19k is different than a million, and on the Internet, the hardest part to get is the following, which is already been done and growing. If you have the viewership, businesses will advertise with you.

It would be the equivalent of you having all the lawn contracts already. That is the hardest part in your business. On the Internet, the harest part is getting viewers.

If this is all true, then why in the hell is he only making $100/mo?

Again, look at the correlation between when SportsHoopla went off of Google Ads. GITM was earning around $400 a month PROFIT. Why do you think he took away the hot chick forum so he could get back to using Google Ads? Because it wasn't profitable. That very small change (read: no risk) literally boosted the valuation ten fold.

Because he tried to go without Google Ad revenue.

I'm going to assume that takes much more of a capital investment than a sports forum, but out of curiosity, what would you expect to sell if for if you were to sell?

The industry standard in the lawn care biz is 3 months worth of contracts. That's it. Anything more and you've been ripped off.

I think it's worth 60K right now. Someone who had the time and the inclination could easily expand the business. My vehicles have a combined worth of about 20k. In the livery business vehicles turn over rapidly and are the major operating cost. I buy at least one a year, and my little company only keeps an inventory of three vehicles: two sedans and a van. A guy who wanted to grow it could if he had the investment capital. My point is I can't expect to get paid for what the company could be. Just what it is. And what it is now is a company that makes about 60k a year.

HaHa! Actually I would love to be in horses, but I don't know a damned thing about running a stable. I do, however occasionally bet on them.

Once again, there is a major difference between value of a traditional brick and mortar business versus an Internet company based on advertising. You just can't compare the any of your brick and mortars to this. I understand where you guys are coing from and I agree with you, IF this was not an INternet advertising company.

I'm guessing there are some people here that think the Cowboys and Redskins each turn 2 billion in profit every year? That is what they are valued at, so it must be a one year take?

Hahaha. Kramer earns 10 dollars a piece. mowing lawns 3 times a month from his couple ex wives, their new boyfriends and the other 3 members of his inbred family clan in Cleeves, and that makes him the EBITA know it all. God, this guy is a class A dumbass. I forgot, he also gets 5 bucks a month for trimming his grandmas bush in Harrison. What a life he leads
