I think Stoops is on borrowed time at UK.

He's got them to two straight bowl games, but not much more.

Rich Brooks salvaged that program and those folks eventually tired
of Brooks. They want more there.

I don't know if this latest fiasco is going to create any distractions
for them. The guy was a drug dealer. We know where the 95 grand
came from.

Plus with 17 tackles in 2 years, it's not like he was on track for the
Ring of Honor.

UK usually gives So Car fits because they match up well with USCe.
They are not overwhelmed physically by So Carolina, like they are
by Florida, UGA, Bama, etc...

UF still has decent talent. I don't see why Mullen can't succeed there, but only time will tell. Seems to always come down to marginal/bad QB play with them. I doubt Tenn's depth. Stoops has won some fairly big games at UK, but doesn't pull good recruiting classes, they'll have to over-achieve this year. I guess we had a thread about Mizzou couple weeks ago from Code bro, say the same thing i did there: if they can fix the defensive issues, they'll be dangerous.

Gonna be a lot of close games deciding the fates of these teams.

Nobody is doubting Mullen's coaching. If he can't recruit top 7/8ish it will be difficult to compete with Georgia though and UF administration wants to SEC titles or he gone after 4 seasons.
