I wagered Tennesse would win Under 6.5 wins this season for $200.......I see maybe 6 wins but no way do I see 7 wins.


While I like the hiring of H.C. Jeremy Pruitt, The VOLS are still a season away from mediocrity............Tennessee went 0-8, yes 0-8 in SEC play last season....They only won 4 games last season and 3 of them were cupcakes......They only won by 4 against UMASS and were lucky to win by 1 against G-Tech where they were outgained by 250YDS.............



I see 6 wins tops below for TENN......I think they go from 0 SEC wins last year to 2 SEC wins this season.....No way do they win 7 games.

Mizzou ? - Agree that this is a toss up. However, it is winnable with TN.

@Vanderbilt W - Vandy had one its best teams under Derrick Mason last year and still went 5-7. Only way TN loses is if their offensive and defensive lines are banged up again at this point in the season.


Biggest difference between Butch Jones and Jeremy Pruitt will be the conditioning. Butch Jones' teams were always wore out and beat up by November and typically lost games that they normally wouldn't lose. Hopefully we build more stamina and strength at the line. The line of scrimmage has been the reason for the decline of Tennessee football over the past decade and should be the priority of any coach.
