I don't think either qb will amount to much. The Rams imo wasted a draft pic. Hell, I think the kid from Memphis has just as much potential as they do. The Rams have a bad oline which will destroy either qb's career just like it does to any qb in that situation not named Manning or Luck.

If I'm drafting, I'm taking Tunsil. Tunsil will be the next generation of elite lineman. Tennessee, my hat is off to you.

Funny, I can see that Miss St kid having just as much success as those three in five years.

Goff looked confused during the whiteboard interview on game changers, Wentz looked prepared maybe better than Winston last year.

People knock the QBs every. single. year.

"Winston throws too many INTs"
"Mariota will be just like Kaepernick"
"Bortles looks like Gabbert"
"Bridgewater can't grip a football"
"Geno Smith padded his stats and isnt a real stud prospect"
"RG3 is another Big 12 spread bust"
"Cam Newton #1? lol. Next Jamarcus Russell"
"Sam Bradford is made of glass and needs a good oline"
"Matthew Stafford? Lions should take Aaron Curry! He is a can't miss prospect."
"Matt Ryan? Falcons should take Glenn Dorsey or Vernon Gholston"

There are a couple of years where the QBs don't pan out but more often than not the scouts get it right.

Other than speed of the game (which both have to adjust to, just in a difference in scale), Wentz is more prepared for the pro game IMO. Played in a pro system, called plays in the huddle, played under center, can look off the deep safety, has the stronger build, and exudes leadership. Goff is the better pure passer and has better feel in the pocket, but is coming from the Air-Raid spread offense.

Plus, Goff is a diehard SF Giants fan. Can't have that in LA, lol.

This turned out to be true.

A couple of them were true indeed. Geno Smith stinks but the scouts saw that coming which is why he wasn't drafted top 10. Its just that criticizing the new QB class almost seems like initiation at this point since its so common.

Remember when one scout wrote a scathing profile about Geno Smith and was called a racist because of it? Although the same guy did say Barkley was a 1st round talent, so maybe he was just a racist that got lucky Smith did actually suck.

Well it is easy to do because half the time you will be right. And it's so tough to evaluate a college player. Look at RGIII as a rookie. He played against more great defenses that year than any college QB will in his career. What does a guy like Goff have? 8 games vs. ranked teams (and 0-8 record). 4 TD's and 5 picks vs. the two best teams he played last year? Wentz? What is the best team he played???

You just can't judge accurately on that. And you can point out positives and negatives, but all of them have the times where they fail. Being too short, hurt one QB, another was fine with it. One QB from a spread offense fails and Brees succeeds..

Wentz will bust out in la if he is their pick.....
better to be a bust in LA than Cleveland !

you at least have a chance in LA.

I don't think Wentz will be a bust at all.

Cleveland is the kiss of death for QB's

I wish I read this before I responded to Rex Racer on the Pats Schedule thread.
