Either Tim Duncan gets number 5.
Or, Lebron James gets an asterisk free number 2.


Duncan will remove all doubt with his 5th ring, 3 finals MVPS, and 2 MVPs.
Lebron will remove all doubt with multiple rings to go with 5 MVPS.

I personally think there is room for plenty of great players.
Kobe, Lebron, and Duncan can all be great.

But SMAN has spent 6 years telling us otherwise.

But, we all will enjoy SMAN locked into a "no win" situation.

I guess at this point, he is rooting for one of them to get injured and then win the ring without playing a game.

Congrats Horns. Nice accomplishment. I'm rooting for you guys. I think the Kobe/Duncan debate was decided overwhelmingly in Kobe's favor at the turn of the decade, when Kobe won by a landslide the player of decade for 2000-2010..

I don't think Duncan has surpassed Kobe over the past 3 years, considering Kobe has clearly distanced himself for Duncan. But it would be a great accomplishment for Duncan to win another ring.

As for Lebron. Like I said, any top player can win a ring on that STACKED Heat team. When Lebron/Wade sat out at the end of the season, the team kept winning as if they didn't miss those guys. This Heat team is so stacked, it's unreal. Not just with stars, but incredible role players like Battier, Miller, Haslem, Cole, Birdman....

These are the guys that are winning it...I think we all agree if you switched Indiana's bench with Miami's bench Indiana would've easitly won the series. The difference in this series was not the starters, but clearly guys like Ray Allen, Haslem, and Birdman coming in and destroying Indiana's guys.
