I think the bigger story was McCarthy becoming the first player in MLB history to strike out 10 batters, walk none and give up 4 homers.

The Dodgers still managed to come from behind yet again, last year we rarely did that if at all. This lineup is going to be scary if Guerrero keeps this up. Still, we need Ryu back and we need some type of consistency from a few arms in the pen.

McCarthy was a hard luck on a couple of pitches. Admittedly, the Nelson Cruz pitch caught the middle of the plate, but it was nearly below the knees. That tub of lard managed to opposite field the pitch like a wet fart over the 330 sign. Effective, but sloppy.

Like you said, McCarthy's the first to do so without including any walks.

To be fair, the Dodgers didn't have as many chances to come from behind last year. IIRC, the Dodgers led MLB in games-led after 6 innings. So yeah, who cares if you don't have come-from-behind wins if you have the most leads of anybody?
