I know I'm in the minority but I think Kelce may still be the best TE, but he won't put numbers like last year.
KC went and traded for a WR they haven't had for years, in K. Toney. Rumors Skyy Moore will be a nice compliment. Then add in that Kelce is 34. Not too many TE (1) that had 1000 yards at that age.

How many games do we expect Toney to play? I’m all for projection and upside, but I think this kid has some weird get out of the clinic free card when it comes to expectations.

I can actually see Kelce breaking his TD record (12) this year… if not his target record (152)… both last year.
We know Mahomes has a floor of 35 TD.

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders.

Not betting the farm on it.
But it looks like KC is actively trying to find other weapons besides Kelce.
Plus Pacheco wasn't used as much as he could have been.
And would it shock me the defensive coordinators start game planning around Kelce? (Cause it seems like they dont.)

Andrews has new competition too.
Hockensen has a new shiny rookie to play with.
Goedert has Smith one year older and Brown one year further in the system…and brought in Swift.
Brain fart, I can’t even remember the kid’s name in Atlanta… that’s his impact.
Kittle is a stud…when he plays.

Am I missing a contender TE? Hard to get safer than Kelce, and it eliminates needing to decide who and when in the middle rounds gets passed on for a TE.

(Though Chase and Hock probably outshines Kelce and equivalent round-WR)

I like Waller a lot this year.
Did you see that Kelce hyperextended his knee in practice today?

Waller's problem the last few years hasn't been talent, it's been staying on the field.

That and the Raiders coaching staff didn’t do him any favors with scheme.

I think you are looking in the wrong direction for the answer you seek.

Kelce/Mahomes/Reid combo is elite talent combined with elite chemistry, defenses are trying to strategize how to limit his damage and they can't.
The guy gets WIDE open, almost multiple times every single game. Don't think you can call it a coincidence after we've seen it for so many years in a row now.
