Both Dillard and Asante spent much of the entire game on the field, so the coaches much have seen something in them up 'til game day.

But....

I didn't see much playmaking from either Dillard or Asante, except to show up at the end of plays and to congratulate everyone else. The FF happened near the end of the game, which also was after Asante blew his coverage and allowed an easy TD. I don't think the scouts could have taken much note of our guys either.

Oh yeah, and Tebow was awful. 8 of 12 for 50 yds, 2 int, 1 lost fumble. By far the worst showing of all the QB's there.

Dillard seemed to be a non factor, didnt really make any tackles, coverage was decent at best, however in games like this one, im just never sure about how easy or hard it is to play call when you know what the D has to run.

Asante was bashed a little bit when the south scored their TD, it was a cover 1 and a skinny post, asante got too deep in the end zone came up and knocked the TE from alabama who caught the TD pass out.... smacked him good, but the anouncers kept going on and on about he was too deep in the end zone when the play was developing.

then they went on to say they think he is no worse then a 3rd rounder

Ole Miss's all SEC RB got stoned cold smashed by Asante, helmet to ball fumble

all SEC CB and kick returner javier arienes (spelling?) got outside on a punt return and was caught from behind by Asante

Dan Lefever (spelling is wrong i know) looked pretty good as did the Cincy WR
