Get Cassel out of there. Both he and Ponder are horrible. Nice job leading Patterson out of bounds when he was wide open to set up a field goal that got blocked and taken back to the house. Not to mention NE gets the ball back at the half. Get Cassel out and put Bridgewater in.

Need to be patient here. No one was expecting the playoffs, and I'm still not trusting our pass blocking.

We aren't supposed to contend anyway. The Rams game just gave us a bit of false hope. 6-7 wins is our ceiling.

We all knew Cassel had that type of a performance in him. He's shown it year in and year out.
But he also can come back for a few weeks and be a good game manager, he's still the best option the Vikes have until Teddy's ready.

It's going to take a few weeks for everyone to gel while learning the new offensive and defensive schemes, unfortunately early in the season is the toughest part of the schedule. Hopefully we'll see progress every week until it all comes together.

I was really hoping they'd make it at least until past week 2 or 3 before we had to give up on them this year. Now I'm just hoping that if they have another awful season, that they lose big and get a really high draft pick for a change instead of pulling off a few wins that set them beyond the top 5 picks.
