Because they barely got better as the season went on last year. you would think that going into the offseason, OTAs, Training Camp, 4 weeks of preseason games that we could get better but Joeckel and Odhiembo look awful.

Can someone tell me what we are going to do with Ethan Pocic? I'm guessing they were not sure if they were going to be able to sign britt but now we have a backup center that we drafted in the second round.

Pocic played all over the line at LSU. I dont think his future in Seattle has anything to do with center unless Britt gets hurt or changes positions again. You have Joeckel on a 1 year deal and still not sure what you have at LT or RT. It's really not that much of a stretch to see Pocic starting at 1 of those 3 positions a year from now or maybe even sooner depending on how things go this season.

I don't know about badly exposed. The D was solid. The O-line was just the mess it's usually been in the early part of the season as of late. Joeckel and Odhiambo started off terribly but it appeared as if they sort of maybe got a little better as the game went on. I'm just going to hope they get it together later in the season like they've seemed to in the past. That left side can't be much worse than it was in the first half against GB. If they struggle this much again next week then it's a cause for some big time concern.

We couldn't run against you. You couldn't run against us. It came down to the passing game and the better QB won. As far as your ST, your punter tried to win the game for you, but Rodgers seemed to get enough back to balance the field position. Your Oline just needs to play together for awhile. Let them mature.

Trade Lacy for whatever you can get for him.

Just 1 game, you can't knee jerk over 1 game... If the same problem exists 8 weeks from now, then I'll start getting seriously concerned.... Our D was amazing yesterday though considering how long they were on the football field ... Our O won't continue to be that bad, Carson is gonna emerge, we also have Rawls waiting in the wing... Our O-line deserves more than 1 game to prove itself...

the Hawks have been to the SB and Playoffs despite being one of the worst blocking teams not because of it :P

This OL is worse than some college teams, we are NOT a contender because of it. How many times will this same story play out before something changes?

I agree with that, Wilson has been put at risk, but I don't want to judge after 1 game how bad the line is, we have some new pieces upfront so I want to see if they grow as the season rolls on ... I would say by the 2nd quarter of the season we'll know more...
