4 days away from the game and it's time to put some predictions up. We will see after who had their crystal ball working. While this is on the Seattle board, everyone can chime in with their predictions, however this is not the place for phony outrage over Seahawks fans daring to have confidence in their team and making predictions you think are totally impossible. There are at least a half dozen threads on the general board already overtaken by that. Also, you don't have to copy each of my items. Put up your own.

Lynch - 116y rushing
Harvin - 128y receiving

Seahawk defense - 2 sacks 2 turnovers

Manning - 278y passing

Denver rushing - 62y

SB MVP - Harvin

Final Score
I've changed my mind. I had been leaning toward Denver, but with Harvin looking fully ready to go and looking at all of the match ups I'm going the other way now.

Seattle 27
Denver 24

Please, stick to predictions and leave the insults for the general board.

I refrained from really thinking about a score until yesterday when some guys at work put me on the spot.

I'm going with

Seattle - 27
Denver - 17

Super Bowl XLVIII MVP - Percy Harvin

I see this game being similar to the patriots game last year where Brady was able to move the ball but weren't able to score enough pts to win as Russell struck that bomb to Rice. As good as LOB is, I don't think its realistic to completely shut down Peyton and this offense. I feel like Peyton is going to move the ball, rack up yards and get some first downs. What we need to do is force turnovers and limit red zone possessions to field goals.

On defense Kam is going to be our mvp. This guy has been in the zone and on his game in the playoffs so far. Hes going to be pivotal in stopping the run, layjng the wood on receivers and covering Julius Thomas.

On offense Russell is going to have a special game similar to the bears game last year.

290 yds passing 2 tds and 68 yds rushing

Seahawks 27
Broncos 23

I think the Hawks can get to Manning and rattle his cage enough for a turnover or two.

Seahawks Defense- 3 sacks/1 int/1 fumble recovery/1 TD

Seahawks Offense- Russ Wison- 17 for 28/205 yds/1 Td/1 int
6 carries/55 yds

Marshawn Lynch- 27 carries/145 yds 2 Td's/ longest rush is 40 yds for a TD

Zach Miller/Percy Harvin- Each with 65 yds rec

Percy Harvin will take a KO back for 65 yds

Final score
Seattle 31 / Denver 24

MVP-Lynch

Based on what? Probably Russell's best attribute right now is that he doesn't make critical mistakes often and it's not like Denver's defense is one to give him nightmares like the SF defense is more prone to.

How did you come to this conclusion?

Come on podunk, let them have their predictions. Just look at it this way, if you are right you have their words in print to use against them. I'm sure he won't be the last person picking Denver or predicting something some of our folks will think is crazy. We will find out who is right in 4 days.

I'm fine with someone picking Denver but when someone uses logic that isn't there I want to know why.

Say I said I think the Hawks will win because Peyton can't throw very well. I'd expect that to be met with a :wtf2: too.

I think the only safe prediction is it wont be a blowout by either team. It isn't 100% safe but both teams are too good to not show up. I am excited for this game. Its going to be good!

I think Michael Bennett gets pressure on Manning (no sacks on manning all game but key moments of pressure) because he has to wait a second later for his WR (which would be his second or third read by this point) to get open resulting in a rushed throw that maxwell ints. That play doesn't end the game but would be looked at as a key turning point where Seattle wins 24 to 20.

Tie game near the end of the 4th quarter. Percy returns a 65+ yard kick off return to set up the game winning FG.

I think Denver gets their 3rd TD late, so the game really isn't even close. Wilson wins the MVP.

Here is an iron clad prediction that can not be disputed :

If Seattle isn't up by 4 TD's with less than 5 minutes left in the 4th quarter my brain will think it's still too close and send a signal to my heart to stop pumping blood.

Book it!

All I want is a fair game… Refs need to let the teams play .. So far in the playoffs this year they've done a good job for the most part allowing teams to be physical and play aggressive… PLEASE continue that and let the teams decide this thing… THAT is all I ask…

Spot on! If the Hawks lose but it was a fair officiated game, I'll be pissed but for a bit but at least I would be able to accept the lose. I'll lose my mind if it becomes one sided.

The Seahawks lost to the Bears in the playoffs in 2006 and it was a great game. I re-watched that one a couple of times. I actually consider Denver and Manning to be pretty classy and if Seattle weren't playing them I'd be rooting for Peyton to get his second ring. That said, I hopeManning throws 5 picks and they lose by 20. What can I say? I'm far more of a Hawk's fan than I am a fan of a nice organization like Denver. :suds:
