Skaggs is not fully there, if we were in last place I would justify leaving him up here to get more experience but we're in a pennant race and cannot have these awful outings. Maybe next year.

I haven't given up on him yet, but I wish he an ounce of the mental toughness that Corbin seems to possess.

Skaggs can have a few great years but I think he will just be another Barry Zito. He doesn't throw hard enough and has to rely on location and so far he can't locate.

I'm as frustrated with y'all at how poorly Kennedy has pitched, but don't rant about not letting him pitch without a better alternative.....

We already have 3 of the 3 battling for the #5 pitching spot during spring training in the rotation now, although Skaggs did just get sent down freeing up one spot for McCarthy......

Sadly, I don't think we have any better options then to hope Kennedy can figure his shit out......

I think you just like to argue. I would be comfortable giving Bradley a shot. Even with Cahill and b-Mac having average outings in their rehab starts, I would trust either of them over Kennedy! Having some form of a chance is better than being out of it by the 5th inning.

I'm assuming McCarthy is taking Skaggs spot.....didn't know Cahill was as close to returning......will be interesting to see what they do when Cahill is "ready" to be activated....

And don't sell yourself so short on your ability to argue either, sir.....

Even if Cahill does not make it back in time for when Ian's next start is scheduled for, I wouldn't pitch Ian. Gibby deciding its a good idea to keep playing him is one of the dumbest things he has done this year. You have given him his shot and now its time to move on and dump him on some other team. I rather have Spruill get another shot or hell give Collmenter the start until Cahill is back. Anyone but Ian.

I was going to say Ferris wheel but he has been used way too often as of late! He would need to sit at least three to four day to be effective in any start! I agree that spruill should be in our bullpen though...
