what point did i post that got you fired up enough to post this thread? that missouri has less of a chance to reach the BCS title game than auburn because while missouri definitely needs a loss from the top 2, auburn could potentially get in, even if it is a longshot, with ohio state still winning.

alabama has more championships than auburn in recent memory, but a lot of that can be attributed to them picking the right seasons to lose a game. it appears auburn may have picked a wrong season to lose a game (the year ohio state wasn't on probation). and then of course there was the 2004 episode.

but head to head? 6 of the last 10 to auburn. since 2000, 9 of 14 to auburn. 11 of the last 20 to auburn. 16 of the last 30 to auburn.

over the last 3 decades, the series has been remarkably equal. even the saban dynasty is just 4-3 against auburn.

we very well might. sometimes, even if you are a really good team, that happens when you play really good teams. maybe one of these ohio state will play a few and find out for themselves?

as for what may have come off sounding like sour grapes... not at all. championships are nice no doubt... but when you have alabama fans talking about their "15" which includes a season where they lost multiple games, finished 3rd in their conference, and 20th in the AP poll, it reminds me that championships aren't everything. sometimes just beating the guy on the other side of the ball, or being the better team is what matters. so alabama got a trophy for going 12-1 and not winning their conference that auburn didn't get despite going 13-0 and winning their conference. not that big of a deal. the history books in tuscaloosa may not remember it the way i do, but i wouldn't trade auburn's 1913, 1983, 1993, or 2004 seasons for alabama's 1941 season.

No, I would rather them win National Championships! You remember the 21-0 win over LSU? Sakau cry whine yell holler whatever you have to do. Then conduct a poll and see how many people rank Alabama way above Auburn in tradition, championships, and even better this year. I find it comical that Auburn tells you how many West titlles they've won or tied for. Alabama fans don't give a shit about that and never will! Go play in the street little brother!
