dont understand the fascination with the NFL for a top level CFB coach, and most fans. Yes the NFL is the big league, but major CFB is just about as big.

Saban can get paid more money at Bama, he's a legend, and he has the train rolling on down the track.

The subject to me is how people consider the NFL as the top of the mountain for a top-level CFB coach, as if say, a Saban, who wins regularly in CFB, is not a success if he cant get to the NFL and succeed...

I see a league where a large percentage of its head coaches are retreads, who just jump from team to team. Sorry, but those guys cant hold a top notch CFB coaches jockstrap.

A Saban can make more money, have more prestige coaching Alabama than in coaching the Oakland Raiders, Buffalo Bills or Miami Dolphins.

He is treated like a deity in Alabama, by the fans, the players, the administration, and the media.

When you are making $7,000,000 with basically no hate mail AND they pay your expensive mortgages off, why do anything else? He has achieved the goal I wish I could achieve, be rich and have other rich people pay all of your bills.
